Why are my peanut butter cookies dry?

When making these easy peanut butter cookies you can sometimes see results that don’t match with what you had in your mind. The main reason people have a dry cookie is because they’ve added too much flour. When you add too much flour, too much of the moisture is absorbed and it causes the cookies to crumble as they bake.

Another reason people might have a dry peanut butter cookie is that they’ve cooked them too long. If you are seeing dry cookies coming out of the oven, try to take the cook time down a minute or 2. Cook times are not always exact because there are so many factors that affect it.

If you try these tips you should have a soft and chewy peanut butter cookie after making this recipe.
