The other night I had plans to make some plain old mashed potatoes from scratch. But I decided I wanted something more. So I began to experiment with them and I ended up making a great side!!! I am excited to share this with you and see how you like it.
8-10 small – small medium Russet Potatoes
2 1/2 cups of grated Cheddar Cheese
3 T Garlic Powder
1 1/2 t Garlic Salt
1/2 cup Milk
- Wash and boil potatoes in water
- Drain potatoes except for about a cup of water and mash potatoes, adding olive oil slowly until they are the smooth texture you like
- Add garlic powder and salt
- Add Grated Cheese 1/2 a cup at a time and mash until mixed
- Add milk and mix well
