Wow, What a day. I have never done a garage sale before. I thought about doing them but for 1 reason or another I decided not to or they hadn’t worked out. I decided a couple weeks back that I was going to have one tomorrow. I have spent the day getting ready everything and labeling everything with prices. I am not expecting to get a lot out of what we have but something is better then nothing and something is better then it sitting in our home cluttering it!
It is still really warm outside here so I am hoping for an ok turn out. I can’t wait to have these things out of the house and to have more room to store the things I need to store instead of the junk I really didn’t need. Plus it will be nice to have a little extra money this month to cover some new clothing for the kids and maybe a night out for me;)
This being my first time doing a garage sale I have been very nervous and intimidated. I tried to price things on the low end so they would sell easily, but somethings I still wonder if they will. But I have decided that I a never going to get over this fear I have of putting one on unless I just do it. so I am. I will be out doing that most of tomorrow. my hubby is going to be watching the kids most of the day so I can be out getting stuff sold. I will do my best to get some blogging done, but I’m not sure how much time I will have. I will be sure to report back what happened so those who are nervous along with me can get over the fear and make a little extra from their garage sale.
