I have used Quicken for years. It was recommended to be by a friend who I have always admired for their ability ot budget and stay on top of their money. I had to buy it and while it was costly it has helped me so much to keep track of my money and keep me accountable. We have since upgraded and bought new versions and such because we love it so much.
Quicken recently came out with a new version. It is a FREE online version. I can not tell you how excited it makes me to have a version that you can have online. We always had problems because we have 2 computers. 1 we used more then the other because it is a laptop. Unfortunately, the quicken was on the other computer. So every time we would need to use it, the other computer had to be turned on and we were using energy that we could have saved if we could have accessed it from our other computer.
This problem is totally taken care of by the quicken online. After you sign up it can be accessed from any computer because you link your accounts to Quicken and it automatically updates. one of my favorite features that updates as your account updates is the spending trackers. they track how much you spend on certain items and how you are doing on your budget.
