My Eyes were opened as Katie and I started discussing the ingredient for this week. In California we regularly have sales through the winter months making Avocados $.50 each. I thought this was the normal sale price for them around the nation. Little did I know that they aren’t as cheap as I thought on the east coast. For some area’s $1.50 each is an amazing price. I will definitely take advantage of the sale price here now that I understand better!
My husband LOVES avocados and would eat them all the time if he could. It was one of my kids first foods as they are so mild and they both loved them as well. I on the other hand only like them in things. this is all because of the texture. I always gag when eating a slice of them. So I was secretly (not so secret anymore) relieved that it was Katies turn to share her recipe. She loves avocados so she was excited to do it.
