Select Comfort In Balance Mattress Topper Review and Giveaway *CLOSED*

I am so excited to have the chance to review and do a giveaway for this product.  It was such a blessing for us to have this item, so I am excited to share all the wonderful things about it with you.


When I was contacted about the Select Comfort In Balance Mattress Topper.  I wasn’t the only one in my family excited.  My husband was even more excited about it.  He is extremely sensitive to heat.  He gets hot easily and it doesn’t matter that we have had the air on 80 the whole summer, his body hasn’t adjusted and he still gets hot.  So when I told him we were going to be able to review a product that goes on the bed and helps to disperse the heat so you can sleep better, he was so excited and couldn’t wait to get it.

The In Balance Mattress Topper is made OUTLAST fabric technology.  This fabric is specially designed to reduce the ups and downs in temperature that causes hot spots and cold spots on your bed and cause you to have a restless nights sleep.  It is hypo-allergenic and anti-fungal.  They have a variety of sizes as well.  These aren’t just for queen or king beds!!!


So here is all the wonderful things I have to say about it.


First off, I have never slept better on our bed!  We have an older mattress.  It was given to us used when we got married 4 years ago.  We got a memory foam mattress pad for it just after we were married to try to help us sleep a bit better on it.  It was ok.  My husband loved it at first, but when summer came and it was over 100 degrees outside every day and he was roasting at night.  This mattress cover really did what it said.  It helped to take a lot of the heat away and we don’t have any hot spots on our bed.  Because we don’t have the hot spots we don’t roll around at night trying to find the coolest spot on the bed.  Even if for some reason we wake up at night, it is never hot and we never wake because our bodies are to hot.  We don’t even push each other off the bed out of the way to get the cool spot on the bed.


Second, It held up in the no AC test.  The power went out one night due to the intense heat outside.  We were just getting ready for bed when it happened.  We were both so worried about sleeping with no air or fans or anything to move the air around and it being 90 degrees as the low that night.  We went to bed and 5 hours later we were woken by the lights coming on when the power came back on!  That is right, we didn’t wake up once!  Both of us were actually shocked that it worked that well.


Third, it actually made our sheets fit the bed better.  When you put it on your bed it goes over the top of your regular mattress pad.  It has really heavy duty elastic that secures it under the bed.  Because of the extra pad we had on our bed the sheets would fit funny.  After putting that on and it pulling everything tight, our sheets fit better and we are able to not have a bunched up sheet on our bed in the middle of the night.


All in all we have no bad things to say about The In Balance Mattress Topper.  In fact, my husband now wants to get the pillow cases and sheets that are made of this fabric too.  The bed is never hot and is so comfortable now.  I can’t suggest this enough.  And just a little point of information, they are on sale right now.  so if you want one if you don’t win the one I have to giveaway, now is the time to get it!
