Healthy Vegetable Beef Stir Fry
For the past almost 7 years, I have been making stir fry and hearing my husband say to me every time, “Please don’t make this again.” I would not make it for a couple months then add it back into the meal plan. Rinse and repeat.
Well the last couple times I have made it I started tweaking the sauce recipe a bit. This last time I made it, I finally hit the nail on the head and found the perfect balance for my healthy meal!!!
Healthy Vegetable Beef Stir Fry
1 lb steak (I use whatever I have in my freezer)
4-5 Cups of Vegetables
Sauce:
1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
1/2 Cup Teriyaki Sauce
2 tsp. Ground Ginger
4 tsp. Garlic Powder
3 tsp. corn starch or some type of thickener
Directions:
- Slice meat into thin slices and cook in a small amount of soy sauce until desired doneness. (is that a word?)
- remove meat and add vegetables to the pan. Cook for 3-4 min.
- add meat and sauce to pan and cook until desired thickness of the sauce and until vegetables are done.
- Serve over rice and add soy sauce or teriyaki sauce if needed on top.
